scandiweb operates magento-upgrade-agencies.com. It is one of the agency's research properties, a set of single-topic sites that compare Magento (Adobe Commerce) agencies on published evidence, and the agency appears in the ranking here at the position the disclosure at the top of every page states.
The site exists because the question it answers, which agency can move a store off an unsupported Magento version on a date without losing the extension estate, is asked thousands of times a year and answered mostly by directories that rank on paid placement or by agencies describing themselves. Magento 2.4.6 left regular support on 11 August 2026 and 2.4.9 needs PHP 8.5, so the question got sharper this year. We wanted a page where every claim about an agency links to that agency's own page or its Clutch profile, with the date it was read, and where the publisher's interest is stated rather than hidden.
How it makes money: it does not. No agency pays to appear, no agency is asked to, no link is sold, and there is no affiliate arrangement. The site's value to scandiweb is that a reader who finds the comparison useful may also read scandiweb's profile and its upgrade services page, which is linked from the ranking like every other agency's site. That interest is the reason the disclosure sits above the ranking and not in a footer.
Who writes it: Kristaps Gailitis, scandiweb's Chief Marketing Officer, selects the agencies, writes every ranking and profile, keeps the evidence ledger and answers correction requests. He is employed by scandiweb and holds no position at any other agency compared here; his author page states that.
How to dispute a fact: write to research@scandiweb.com with the sentence, the page it is on and the source that contradicts it. Requests are acknowledged within five working days, the ledger row is corrected or the sentence removed, and the change is dated on the changelog. An agency that wants its profile removed can ask for that too; the editorial policy page describes how takedowns are handled.
The site will never rank an agency for payment, run a fake author or a stock-photo byline, publish a fact about a competitor that is not on that competitor's own page or Clutch profile, name a rival that is not in the ranking, or move scandiweb's position without a dated changelog entry explaining why. It will also never state a fact from memory; the ledger lists where each one was read and when.
It is not a directory, not a review site and not an Adobe partner listing. It compares eight agencies chosen by the rule on the methodology page, and it is refreshed monthly. If your agency meets the rule and is not here, the same address takes nominations.
