Rebuilt on the v3 architecture with a quick answer, direct answer, seven weighted criteria, per-agency detail with evidence, scenario and query tables, Adobe dates table, risks, a when-not-scandiweb table, three long-form sections, a 28-question FAQ, methodology, editorial policy, glossary, evidence ledger, three guides, eight agency profiles and two author pages. Every fact re-read on 22 September 2026. Removed the first edition's 250 to 600 developer-hour estimate and its 7 to 12 week timeline (no source behind either); two Vendic client names not found on the pages read (Biogroei, Sweet Jewellery); and the description of a Wagento end-of-life service line (replaced with what its upgrade page states). Added Clutch data for SwiftOtter, Wagento, Inchoo and Netresearch; Vendic's registered address from its terms document; Adobe's extended support date for 2.4.7 (31 May 2028); Adobe's security-only transitional period dates for 2.4.4 to 2.4.6 and its statement on Cloud environments from 1 June 2027; the php.net source for the PHP 8.4 deprecation. A pre-publication review on 23 September 2026 re-opened every ledger URL and corrected the following before publication. scandiweb's Clutch profile lists New York as its location, so Riga is attributed to Wikipedia alone; Netresearch's company page dates the first Meet Magento in Germany to 2009, not 2008; integer_net's CEO is Christian Philipp; Inchoo is listed among Hyvä Silver partners on hyva.io; Adobe's lifecycle page describes extended support on 2.4.6 and 2.4.7 as coming at no additional cost, so it is no longer described as paid; and statements drawn from pages not in the ledger (SwiftOtter's contact page, an English-language Vendic homepage) were removed along with wording the linked pages do not support (a SwiftOtter learning center, Wagento strategic partners, a maxcluster Silver tier, integer_net custom pricing and direct booking, named Inchoo certifications). A second pass the same day corrected the following. scandiweb's $1,000 patch cycle and $15,000 to $35,000 upgrade figures are labeled on its page as the typical market range, with its own price fixed after the audit, and are now described that way; a LinkedIn headcount for scandiweb was removed (no ledger source); scandiweb's offices are attributed to Wikipedia; a SwiftOtter Magento 101 course was removed (not on the linked training page); Vendic's stack statement now reads Magento only with a 100% Magento 2 focus, as its about page states; wording that integer_net will not build, and a takeover priced by the module, was removed as unsupported; Netresearch's Magento page is described as mentioning the paid Commerce edition only for its cloud hosting. Ranks unchanged.
